You don’t want a guy on the verge of heatstroke half-blind from sweating into his eyes operating a 20-ton machine. So many things could go wrong. In the interest of avoiding such hairy situations, we offer the following services:

We offer maintenance, repair, and installation services for all kinds of HVAC systems. These can be done at our shop in Reno or by technicians at your premises.
Our technicians have extensive experience with the following HVAC services:
|
|
Fixing Bad Blower MotorsThe blower motor blows air out of your air conditioner, warming and cooling up the space as required. When the blower motor breaks down, no air is blown out and your AC is rendered effectively useless. But once again, it’s a very fixable problem, and fixing problems is something we excel at.
|
HVAC Service and RepairOur technicians have extensive experience with all kinds of heavy equipment and HVAC systems. We can help keep your HVAC systems in tip-top shape and repair it if anything goes wrong.
|
Repairing Bad ThermostatsWe all know that thermostats allow you to regulate temperature. As such a broken thermostat makes your AC completely unusable. But it is a fixable problem. And that’s where we come in.
|
Auxiliary Power RepairAs the name implies, the auxiliary power unit does just that: It provides power to the HVAC or refrigeration system of your truck or piece of heavy equipment independent of other onboard power systems like the engine or battery.
The point of an APU is to hedge against failure. For example, if you have a refrigerated truck carrying meat, a breakdown of the engine won’t affect the freezer which would keep working so your meat stays fresh. But sometimes it does fail, a thoroughly unpleasant situation for all involved. APU repair is one of the areas our technicians are highly experienced in. They’ll fix it and get you back to work as soon as humanly possible. |
Freon ReplenishingFreon is the gas used as a refrigerant in all cooling systems. It undergoes the evaporation and liquefaction process over and over again in order to provide a cooling effect.
Freon is pumped through the HVAC system by the compressor through a series of pipes and tubes. Minor punctures on any of these tubes or a problem with your compressor can cause the freon to leak out and therefore cripple the cooling capability of your HVAC system. Our technicians use the latest and best technology to pinpoint sources of freon leaks before patching them up and replenishing the gas. |
Drain Line CleaningAir loses moisture as it is heated and cooled inside your HVAC system. This moisture flows through the drain line, also called the condensate line.
Over time, an accumulation of dust and other forms of dust can lead to a blockage of your drain line. This can also happen in very cold winters when the low temperatures cause the water inside your drain line to freeze and clog the pipe. But it doesn’t matter how stubborn your blockage is. We will clean it and make your AC functional again. |
Climate Control INSTL.Our technicians have extensive experience with installing HVAC systems on new and used equipment that doesn’t come with a climate-controlled cab from the factory.
A climate-controlled cab can make all the difference, especially for equipment operators working outdoors in a place with as punishing a sun as Reno’s. Working in relative comfort will help your people stay on the job longer, be more productive, and complain less. |
Fixing Bad RelaysBad relays and contacts that don’t actually touch have shut down many an air conditioner. Finding such electrical faults often requires extensive testing with specialized equipment, something our technicians have a lot of experience with.
Whatever the fault is, we’ll find, it fix it, and make your unit operational again. |
Fixing Bad CompressorsThe compressor is the engine of any HVAC system. It does all the heavy lifting to keep the refrigerant circulating and therefore cool everything down.
When your compressor breaks down, you will know immediately. There won't be any cold air. An unusually loud compressor is also not an encouraging sign. If your compressor stops running or becomes unusually loud, call us immediately so we can check it out and fix it. |
Clogged Air FiltersHeavy equipment is used to move heavy things and perform demanding operations in environments that are often very dusty. Your air filters act as a sieve, letting in the clean air while keeping out the dust.
Naturally, some of that dust will accumulate on the filter and build up over time. A huge buildup causes your filtration systems to overwork as they have to suck air through all the accumulated layers of dirt coating the filter. This requires more power, generates more noise, and might ultimately lead to a complete breakdown. A great way to prevent this is to regularly clean the air filters and remove all the grime that builds up on them. We also repair and replace damaged filtration systems. |
Fix Bad Condenser Fan MotorsThe condenser fan is found on the exterior of your AC unit, usually the outdoor portion. Its job is to cool the compressor.
If the condenser fan motor fails, your compressor runs the risk of overheating and causing a lot more problems for you. But you need not worry much. This is something our technicians can fix in minutes. |
Dirty Coils Need CleaningThe coils of the HVAC system are where your refrigerant absorbs heat and evaporates. Evaporation of the refrigerant is what causes the cooling effect. The coils are where the cold air comes from.
If the coils get dirty, and they do over time, the heat transfer process gets less and less efficient. This makes your HVAC system less efficient in turn as time goes by. Left uncleaned for too long, dirty coils can completely shut down your HVAC system. |
Repairing Bad CapacitorsCapacitor. It’s one of those words electricians throw around and never bother explaining what it means. A capacitor is an electric component found in practically every circuit which uses alternating current i.e. main power supply.
Unlike direct current from batteries which is very stable, alternating current ebbs and flows by the second. Think of it as a river. The quantity of water in a river and the speed with which that water flows down the river varies from day to day, month to month, and season to season. If it rains a lot, the river might flood and if it doesn’t, the river might slow to a trickle. A capacitor acts like a dam, collecting water (or electric charges in this case) when the flow rate is high and releasing it when the flow rate is low, thus maintaining a stable flow. Without a capacitor, a lot of electrical components risk being destroyed by electric surges. When a capacitor breaks down, it’s like a dam with blocked outlets. No current flows and therefore your electrical equipment won’t work until a new capacitor is installed. Click Here to get in touch in touch with us. We can install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units on your heavy equipment. |
ContactWhen you need your heavy equipment repaired in a pinch, we are your best option. Need emergency repairs? We’ll do it. Need the repairs done on-site? We’ll do it. Need repairs at a reasonable price? We will do it.
